When it was first decided that the British would leave, negotiations began between the British and Indian representatives, particularly the representative of the Indian National Congress Party, Jawaharlal Nehru, and the voice of India’s Muslim League, Mohammad Ali Jinnah. The latter was concerned that an independent, united Indian subcontinent would create an unfair political environment for the Muslim minority in the Hindu-dominated region.

    As a Pakistani, thank you for making a neutral perspective of the war. A lot of both Indians and Pakistanis in this comment section should realise that history is something that should not be tampered with due to their political and personal beliefs.

    As a Pakistani, this gave me much more information about the first Indo-Pakistani War. This is an amazing video btw I feel sad for those Indians and Pakistani's that died in this war. I would love to see a video of the other Indo-Pakistani wars. Great vid!

    Thanks for covering this war in neutral aspect, so the people can learn more about southasian history. Also some more important point's:- 1-The capture of gilgit was codenamed Operation coup datta khel by a british officer who led the operation 2-Operation Bison which was codenamed first operation duck failed, but after intense and renewed attempt indian forces suceeded 3-The tribes were halted at srinagar known as battle of shalateng 4- One of the last battles and important named Battle of pandu (which isnt known much) and fell to pakistani force's persuaded indian Pm to Go to UN many more points etc.Hope more vid like these about Indo pakistani wars come soon out,Big thumbs up!

    Lahore and Karachi were also part of India. British backstabbing is leading to loss of territory even today for India.
