  • Getting out of Seattle felt better than being released from prison

I wonder if anyone could have predicted what would happen if we systematically decriminalized crime and defunded the police at the same time...
  • Having the last chief say he was queer just to get off sexual harrasment allegations was pretty sad and pathetic.......

My 2 police officers QUIT, and moved out of state. Seattle can rot In it’s Progressive, Wokeness. (remember, almost 500 businesses have also closed in Seattle in the last few years). 🤷🏼‍♂️🤔👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻
  • When the politicians are garbage the city becomes garbage. The officers can be treated better, paid better and be appreciated in other cities.
  • @dutchberry
They said “defund the police" what do you expect?

Seattle is out of control. My young adult son came home from work the other day and had to wash a stranger’s blood off of his clothing. He was taking the Seattle light rail and a man next to him got punched in the face by another man for accidentally bumping into him. He works 3 part time jobs in Seattle and travels 1.5 hours each way by public transportation to work these jobs. My sons works so hard and now he is not even safe to work there. I can’t even go to bed at night until I know he is home safe.
  • I haven't been to Seattle for 4 years and I live 20 minutes away.......too dangerous. Someday we will vote in a leader that will understand that you have to put your citizens and businesses first before the homeless and criminals that pay no tax.

The officers quit because SPD is run rudderless ship.
  • I moved out of Seattle to find out it’s all of Washington as a whole. Small towns smaller cities. Moved out of state and wow felt like pleasantville. Happier and nicer people and when I talk about crime in Washington they say wow that’s like our small pockets of ghettos. Just blows my mind how people in Wa thinks it’s so great or it will eventually get better. Only get worst. As a German that was hired as an engineer I thought sorry U.S my time is limited here but my new home begs to differ. Oh and before you say go back… U.S hired me due to limited in my profession. I’m what U.S use to be get the best.

Can we have a public access cops show for every major city so our voting base can understand the kind of shenanigans that are happening before they cast there ballots/change public policy?

Moved to Missouri 5 years ago after living my entire life in Seattle.... best decision i ever made!!!
  • Defund the Police, use half the cost for neighborhood watch groups. The poor never call police, so reroute cops to Patrole richer neighborhoods. Or give them a new job to relocate all homeless people into tiny home communities .
