La la land is my favorite movie of all time. As a former actor who switched to directing, I looooove the music of this movie.
After 10+ years of not playing piano I bought the sheet music and started to learn this song. Haven’t had the time to dedicate to learning the fast parts, but I got half the song.

So anyway, I love this song, it’s so close to my heart.

One thing that drives me absolutely drives me crazy is how many “talented” pianists on YouTube getting 100ks even millions of views playing this song and don’t play it with heart.
As soon as I saw your hands move I knew you were going to nail it.
The emotion is there. Well done. I’m sick of seeing skilled robots playing this song, you NAILED it!
Anyway, thank you for treating this song with the love it deserves.

Creo que el compositor de esta melodía ha hecho un gran trabajo, pero no podemos dejar a un lado el gran trabajo que ha hecho este hombre al hacernos sentir lo que la partitura quiere que sintamos. Sigue así, se que tienes un buen talento para esto.
Si alguien esta leyendo esto espero que ya hayas sentido eso que este manuscrito con cierta complejidad quiere que sientas. . . Solo basta con cerrar los ojos y escuchar la melodía una vez para que así podamos sentir esa maravillosa sensación de la que estoy hablando.
No se hace cuanto salio la pelicula, pero con solo escuchar esta melodía pensé que tal vez ver la película no sería una mala idea.

me and my love were in our own heads one day, overthinking. we were both on the couch- him lying down on me, crying silently. he was worried that i had lost feelings for him, though that wasn’t even near the concept. the whole situation was all a misunderstanding, but as he was lying down on me, i had this song playing in the background, and he asked me what this piece was called. i told him the title, and one day i had overheard him learning this song. i feel like this cover connects us both in a way emotionally. thank you for this wonderful cover. :)
