I love this theme, so moody and otherworldly, yet relaxing as well. There is something so peaceful about exploring Hew’s Bane while this plays.
  • The life of poverty has given birth to Thieves Guild. A sad place and a sad story. I'm glad I chose Daggerfall Covenant to understand their story from Hammerfell to Hew's Bane.

I've played ESO now for about a month, which I find nice because I know this journey will be deep. Basically all the DLCs are available now and I own quite a few of 'em but I knew I had to start early with the "Thiefs Guild" DLC, to add to my character and have choices available as I go along in the game. So I kind of finished the main story around Molag Bal in a hurry. I really didn't like the setting, the undead etc. Just a matter of taste and what's my favorite fantasy. But... and this is where this comment is going: When I started this DLC and walked through Hews Curse the first time with this atmospheric soundtrack in the background, that's all it really toke, to get me deep into the game and the world. It was one of those moments when you realize you really like a game. And this is where the argument for me stops about what game/franchise is better: The Witcher or The Elder Scrolls. In both games I found unbelievable intense moments and gameplay. Just recently I've had one in ESO as mentioned above and I can see the beauty in this game. No need to crown a single game when greatness can come a few ways! Nice work on a MMORPG that can really catch you like this.

I finished both Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood the other day. I had more fun on Thieves Guild than DB. Quests were less stressful since I avoided heists. And when I realized I could avoid sacrament quests for DB, I finally avoided those and eventually finished both stories. I must say although DB was frustrating, I had fun on both. Then yesterday I finished a story I had been dying to try - Murkmire - and I placed a Murkmire map and some circular type of Mayan Calendar looking thing in my Coldharbour spot. 🙂Now to earn the coin for the Alinor Townhouse to move a huge item from the Coldharbour spot to that place.
