The road is a very lonely place when things go sideways. For what it's worth, you did a very good job explaining things to your viewers. Those of us who have been in that situation were right there with you.

Little something to help soften the blow. Hope you get back trucking soon brother!

I'm always impressed with Tow truck drivers. What a tough job. Hope they get paid well.

It sucks to be broken down out away from home. I spent a week in South Bend Indiana back in the nineties while truck was getting rebuilt at Caterpillar. Blew a tip off a injector and destroyed the motor. Spent 5 days in a hotel in Albany New York because I blew a turbo on a Detroit on a Friday and the shop wasn't going to touch it till Monday. It sucks. Got my purchase, enjoyed the note. Remember talking to me on the phone? Well I jumped in....I have 3 up.

Well that sucks New trucks, old trucks, middle-aged triucks...they all break.

#144 Mr. Schmidt, I know your pain. It will be July 24th, before I can get my Motorhome in the shop for repairs. The R/V Service Centers are very busy at this time of the year. But for you, it's your employment---food on the table. If the wheels aren't turning, your not earning! I'm retired, but not going anywhere soon---wasting my summer away. At the age of 76, I don't have that much time. Happiness is The Highway!

Kurt... You should have broadcast live when u broke down. I am only about 20 miles from where you broke down in Plymouth. Could have drove down there and helped you out.

Once had same happen to me. Pulled fan off, used pliers to squeeze leaks shut as much as possible and dumped a can of, bad habit tobacco into radiator. Pepper, raw eggs also work. Was enough to slow the leak and get 350 miles back home. Sometimes need some out of the box ingenuity. Good luck partner

On the bright side, the German is home.๐Ÿ˜‚
  • @ghostrider729
It's a blessing you didn't have the German with you Kurt, man it'd been a lot more do deal with. Hopefully you'll be otr asap. Good luck ๐Ÿคž
  • My dad was a long-distance trucker back when I was a kid in the 1970's and 1980's. I so remember how it seemed as though every time a holiday or vacation was coming up, his truck would break down. We were okay with it, though. I don't remember us needing therapy or anything as adults, haha. I love watching your channel because it takes me back to my youth.

SCHIMDT. I know that you are about to have some ๐Ÿค‘๐Ÿ’ตโ˜น๏ธ๐Ÿ’ฐ๐Ÿค‘ Bill. But it's beyond your control and not on your doing for this to happen. You don't abuse 1st Class you take care of her as much as possible. The most important thing is you are S-A-F-E and not hurt. Only hurt in the pockets. Again just glad you are safe ๐Ÿš’๐Ÿš›
