Family, friends and several law enforcement agencies are gathering Tuesday to remember Officer Matthew Bowen who died in the line of duty. He is the first Vacaville police officer killed in the line of duty. Bowen was killed during a traffic stop when he was hit by a suspected DUI driver on July 11. He leaves behind a wife, two sons, parents and a brother. Here is a love letter to Matt written by his wife Elizabeth Bowen and read by her aunt Laurie Gagnon.
