What sicken me the most is that Cassie was a genuinely good friend to the two boys. She supported their passion for horror and even asked them to have her act in a lead role in one of their movies. Sadly; Cassie didn't know that her two "friends" became irredeemable monsters as soon as they turned their passion into a maddening obsession...

That poor girl must have been so freaking scared in her last moments of life. I can’t even imagine. RIP Cassie. This case is just truly horrifying.

I dont mean to make a joke, but when Brian was trying to recount what the movie was about, it reminded me of when I didnt read a book I was supposed to in school and a part of our test was to talk about our favorite part/characters, I made up what I thought was the most elaborate details.. only to find out, teachers are not stupid; neither are interrogators. Honest is key my friends... I can promise you that much.

Note to self: if investigators ever accuse me of a crime and say “I don’t believe you’re the kind of person to do this” they 100 percent believe i am the kind of person that did it.

Brian’s interrogation is brutal to watch literally any time hes saying something probably incriminating he stutters I don’t know how the detectives kept a straight face 😭😭😭

Can we just take a moment and think about how terrified Cassie must have been. Having the lights go out, and flicker on/off, hearing strange noises in the basement, seeing the dogs react to something...then being alone and 2 people with masks on run up the stairs and stab you. And only 16 years old. I'm in my 40s and I can't fathom the fear.

It's so nice when the murderer's make sure to document their own crime for you. Very considerate for future True Crime videographers.

They actually documented their entire murder🤦🏾♀️. They made this so easy for the cops. As a parent sitting in the room I would just cry because you can tell when your child is lying and you know they’re going to prison for life.

At approximately 1:59:46 the suspect can be seen eating his boogers. Psychologists report that eating boogers is a self-soothing mechanism once a suspect realizes they're screwed.

These interrogation videos are so crazy, it's insane how dialed-in the detectives can be whilst actively listening and having the ability to read the situation. The application of their training is really remarkable.
