All wonderful albums. I would just put on The Who record and have a bask. I'm curious what the U2 album was. I have their first six on vinyl. My last purchase on vinyl was Lightning Bug's A Colour of the Sky. Yes, it's been a bit. Books...Yes! I will watch. Two days back I finally downloaded the list of David Bowie's 100 favourite books, to read the ones I have yet to do.

Hello. New here. Music is my passion! I'm a mega U2 fan since the 80s. A Lana fan since Ultraviolence. And a WHO fan since the early 80s. It's Hard is usually ranked near the bottom of WHO album rankings but i hardly want to cloud your judgment before listening. Lisren to it first and then go to what i consider to be their best. Who's Next and the 'concept' album Quadrophenia. Oh and i love Radiohead too.

If you find getting the U2 albums to be a bit daunting since there's like 15, I'd say you should get either U218singles which is a collection of their singles between 1980 and 2006, or you could get their two best of albums between 80-90 and 90-00. A lot of people say their output after 1995-2000 isn't worth listening to but I think you're better off making that decision for yourself. I can't tell you how many albums with a bad reputation (notably Exciter by Depeche Mode and Wild Mood Swings by The Cure) I put off for ages just to find out that I thought they were really good so don't let other people decide what music you like, although you got The King of Limbs which you probably know isn't particularly loved by Radiohead fans (I don't know why) so I'm sure you're quite aware of this anyway. Also big yes to record collection video, I don't have space for a record player so I collect CD's myself but seeing people go through the records they love and have history with is still very heartwarming to see for me, plus whenever I'm in HMV I still go and look at the records because they just look fantastic and feel amazing to hold.

It's Hard is arguably The Who's weakest record. I love The Who and never listen to it even though I played it a lot when it came out!
