  • In a way, Moder is the only mandatory boss. As far as I know, there’s absolutely no other way to get linen thread or blackmetal ingots without the spinning wheel and blast furnace, both of which require the artisan table.
  • My favorite sequence break is making a set of Fenris armor before defeating The Elder. It’s pretty challenging to gather fenris hair from the frost caves with bronze-tier gear, but it’s definitely possible. I always craft the shirt first, to get the cold resistance buff. I love being able to be out at night and not have the cold debuff, as well as being able to explore mountain areas without feeling like I’m “wasting” frost resistance meads.

I'm a few months late, but here's a few additions/corrections anyway. 1) You can get Silver without killing Bonemass. Sometimes a silver vein will be sticking out of the ground on its own. But that's rare, so a way better solution is to "prospect" for Silver with the Stagbreaker. 2) When you mentioned crafting Carapace Spear at 7:30 you said it's available as soon as you have Iron, but it doesn't actually require any Iron. It is technically available from the beginning of the game, provided you can somehow get to Mistlands. 3) Another sequence break I like to do is getting Fine Wood before Bronze Axe. You can "chop" birch trees in the Meadows with Beech tree trunks by rolling them into each other repeatedly.

can't imagine the number of deaths required to get that black forge
  • Wow, I gotta try this! Having that blade and crossbow so early should make things different and fun. I love that blade.

Regarding the iron age, if you want to complete that without glitches then you can also hire a seeker soldier to break anciet armor and swords, filled 3 ships that way in my no boss kill play through, just takes alot of patience, good dodging skills and a high tolerance against mist.

Crom arbalest and carapace spear, which paired with a upgraded iron shield is good enough to run around plains, also you can use krom to break small yggdrasil trees and they sometimes drop tje ygga wood if you dont want to play around with a soldier

Even if iron gate fixes the sunkencript glitch you can get a lot of iron in the sealed tower, mistland bridges and mudpiles or make a seeker soldier break some ancient armor and swords, its risky but viable

Black Marble- You dont need the 2 iron- Stagbreaker damages bridges etc just fine. Just pound away at the base of the bridge pillars and once you've broken them the whole thing will slowly collapse, giving you both a sizeable chunk of black marble AND a bunch of iron ingots.

For dealing with wolves with low level gear, you can just walk in a tight circle around them and they cant hit you
  • @Koko92553
you can actually break the black marble structures easily if you just dig under it.
  • @yuukizaki3163
Im just wondering if you did all of the mistlands’ stuffs without any dev commands. Especially getting the black cores.
  • @ricoooooooo
Silver is also easy to find with a stagbreaker and get cauldron level 4
  • In my current playthrough I skipped eikhtyr entirely. I can't remember what the point was tough.
  • @Jalbesbe
Did they buff the crossbow? Because it did next to no damage before. My bow was far stronger
