5 days in the Patagonia’s Lake District | BARILOCHE | Solo in Argentina

Published 2024-07-19
Hi guys,
This time, we’re embarking on a very special journey with you…
As we are entering Patagonia, a diverse region of an exceptional natural beauty, we’re going to explore Argentine Lake District and the city of San Carlos de Bariloche, which is surrounded by thousand-year-old forests, mountains covered in snow and crystal clear lakes.
When I first arrived here, I was blown away. I wasn’t sure what to expect but the entire area was beautiful. From the lake and mountains in the background to the alpine-style architecture and little chocolate shops on the street. This place will fill you with energy and peace…

I'm from Bariloche (actually from Buenos Aires but living here since 2021) and yes the views are amazing and sooo beatiful, sadly the city needs a lot of work to match the surrondings. Your video is so great! one of the best I've ever seen about Bariloche! PS: Every season looks different and the views are always unique :)
  • Beautiful video Iryna! I'm glad you had a great time there. I am Argentinian myself, originally from Buenos Aires, but lived in Bariloche for 5 years, now Im also a nomad. We are happy to welcome travelers like you and share the beauty of this land with the world. Patagonia is pretty much empty and untouch. I would love to see more foreigners not only traveling there, but moving to this region. It has a lot to offer and people are very welcoming. Till next time, enjoy your travels!
