Should probably mention this but you could make coarse dirt to get more dirt. The Nether have some gravel so basically a near somewhat of a endless source.

hey cookie, quick tip if you run out of dirt. go to the nether and mine a bunch of gravel, go back to your world and grab 2 pieces of dirt. combine them to make 4 pieces of coarse dirt and use a shovel to turn into path blocks. then you have an infinite dirt farm :D
