Idk why they even bother with the pretense of leveling a character. If endgame is treated like the only content that matters, then what's the point of having a traditional RPG leveling system?

This sounds super fun for people who are already playing. I'm waiting to get back in if they ever made the leveling experience a meaningfull journey, and this aint it.

The experience overhaul is something they always do with every expansion. They always make the experience from the last ten levels from the past expansion much less because it is now part of the pre-expansion content where the experience needed to level is always going to be the highest. As more levels are added they also reduce experience needed so as to make the entire experience to max level an alt should take about the same amount of time as it has before.

The reduction of XP could be a few things : Getting players to end game early, lack of content or the XP reduction to share between alts. I am going the Lack of content way, because they seem to be pushing leveling Alts with the XP buff, so you get XO buff on alts then require less XP to gain levels, you will hit max level very very quickly.

.....that was scary i literally was thinking about a xp boost that would scale based on the # of capped characters you possessed......and the literal next sentence that came in the video was about the warband achievement that did EXACTLY that........

Im the degen with a 70 of every class, and multiples of classes i really like lmao. So all this alt friendliness coming in war within and within DF has been an absolute field day for me

This is normal for every expansion. It is to equalize the time needed to reach the new expansion content.

Haven't played the last expansion, but this one is looking great. I'm just having a really hard time wanting to get back in because of WoW tokens. The last time I played, the market was just flooded with gold and it felt pointless to play when you can just pay your way to the top.

question remains for warbound gear. like do you need to have at least 1 alt at lvl 80 to start getting warbound gear (and is it for the class that alt is?). Lets say you really don't play alts, but the few you have is all cloth or leather user's, would warbound mail/plate gear drop for you?

Will they fix the gameplay or is it still mindless mob farming for quests? One reason im still not playing retail is because of how boring it is to quest and no mythics do not count they're just glorified dungeons and barely feel different from a regular dungeon or raid mobs dying from being sneezed on does not make a good game it makes it too boring to play

So onc again new players will level so fast they won't experience full storyline and will be forced into a newest expansion. New player experience in WoW is one of the worst ever.

I really hope that they're not spending all their dev time on alt content when the game is already suffering from a lack of end game progression/content for mains as it is already.

Literally you can just BUY max level. If you don’t buy it, it’s insanely fast. Can we just get rid of leveling? It’s clearly not the focus of retail anymore. They’re doing everything they can to make endgame the only game.
