Here's my overshare lol. Part of me is like "Why is my 25-year-old ass watching this, I'm weird and creepy yikes" but I think I figured it out. The biggest trauma I've experienced in my life happened when I was 18. I've been seeing a new therapist, watching videos and tiktoks on healing, and even certain Criminal Minds episodes/quotes, they've all made it clear. Part of my life ended when I was 18 and that trauma happened. My brain and body have grown and aged, but my emotions and perceptions are still back in 2014 with that trauma. Watching you living truthfully and taking ownership of where you are in this moment, doing the things you need to do for yourself when you are literally 19 (!!!) gives my 18-year-old self hope, which is one of the biggest things she lost back then. It's fucking beautiful, so thank you for sharing and working so hard to share all of these things. <3
