I've had my husky for 3 years now. They are different than other breeds. They need allot of attention and exercise. 100% worth it though. Huskies are great dogs.
-
I had a red husky, he lived for 16yrs. I miss him everyday. they are truly intelligent dogs.
-
Huskies are hands down the most difficult puppies. They’re the such amazing dogs as adults, and having that bonding experience of puppyhood ends up being so worth it. 🥰
-
As Leo grows up, he will need lots of running in parks and jogging tracks. His owners will become very fit in the process!
-
My blue healer destroyed everything when he was a puppy. And 2 years later he’s a sweetheart. Just takes a lot of love and patients.
-
It’s well worth the patience and dedication that they require.. once they get out of the puppy stage (although they will always be puppies at heart) they’re the most sweet, loyal, and energetic dogs. Keep up the great work you’re gonna love Leo when he’s older ♥️

ALL DOGS are alot of work ...alot of work. The key is to learn the species. You have a working dog...they will require work and activities. If he tears things up...hes bored and anxious.. You seem adventurous...so thats a good start. Keep it up and study his species more...it will give you insight and help save your things. Former Bullie owner

This was a nice reminder as to how blessed I was with my husky. Got him at 6 weeks old, and apart from a few times when sick, he only had an accident in the house the night I brought him home. No issues crate training. Never barked. Never chewed anything up. Totally hated baths, though.

We got a husky puppy at 10 weeks of age. Surprisingly it took me 2 days to get him used to a large crate where he wouldn't complain. Biting is normal but I tackled that first to redirect his urges to toys. He learned the sit command in 1 day. He's extra fluffy, and very smart.

I was a terrible tornado when i was a puppy and drove my hooman mad. But now when im older (1year 8 months) im really calm and cool. Just hang in there hooman, it will be fine!
-
Yes, as beautiful and as smart as they are. They require a lot of patience and care. We've had our beautiful girl for 10 years. They become more settled and not as destructive the older they get, but the experience of having a 4 legged Houdini with attitude that talks more than she barks, and sheds like a winter wonderland, is worth their loyalty and companionship.

Husky’s are escape artists baby gates will not contain him lol he’s so cute tho
-
Huskys need lots of toys. My house looks like a gang of kids live in it with toys all over the house but at least he stopped eating our shoes.

My Husky puppy is 10 months old now. Everything shown in the video is here is so relatable!
-
Just remember, all: Huskies have ALL the energy! Walks/ runs/ dogpark visits/ doggie doors out to a yard/ etc. are all that stand between you and either a freakin' hurricane of energy destroying everything in it's path or, even worse, a depressed pup. I still feel for the girl my lil brother had when he was still at home who didn't get as many runs as she wanted and ended up stressed/ nervous with inside accidents; we should have let her take us out more often for both her mental health and our own...
-
Oh boy, my 3yr old husky taught me patience through a broken full length mirror, torn 3 day old headphones, messy room (i mean lots of slippers gone and chewed off doors) and a few months of sleepless nights potty training when he was still a pup.. now he feels like my police dog bec hes VERY protective of me, sleeps like theres no tomorrow and does zoomies... never had a dog like him, takes a lot of work but u get a whole lot of love! Perfect stress reliever!
-
Everything that seems a hassle now will be precious memories and treasured bonding experiences for you both. Will be your husky by your side thru all
-
With a husky expect the unexpected & there's never a dull moment.

I have two dogs and I got my puppy when my older dog was 7 years old. I wouldn't say they're as close as yours but my older dog has learned to love the puppy in his own unique way. He's sets the house rules and makes sure the puppy follows it but they enjoy each other's company but there is a clear hierarchy between them. Its rather amazing to see. Buddies for life.
