In the "Everything Rots!" tape, when Amanda says "it's too late.." maybe the demon has fully possesed her body, and she was trying to get you to help her stop the demon. Or it could be that Rebecca's body has already started decomposing or "rotting" and the demon replaced her.

28:16 I think why Amanda says "I think it might be too late" is because she knows that her body in the real world has already rotten away/decomposed, and it's too late to save her
