    @2:26 Roopakam thala supposed to be 6/8 time signature & Misra Chapu (Tisra Triputa) is 7/8 time signature! And the video is quite interesting!

    2:40 Infact, in Indian music we do have 22 distinct notes (or swaras or shruthis)...the meend is just an embellishment after all. you can read more if you want at http://www.22shruti.com/ ...(read under the 'research' tab, it is quite interesting!) The equal temperament we commonly use in western music these days is sort of a compromised tuning scheme. btw Thank you for the video :)

    The "Duff" is actually called and spelt Dafli. The Dholak is pronounced with OR not OO. This is cool, other than this Indian man getting our instrument names wrong lol. Indian music has a lot to offer western music and vice versa. Check out the latest vid on my channel where I incorporate the Tablas and the Dohl in to a western pop style song.
