Those poor working men and their poor families. My heart goes out to them. :(

I don't understand how they had enough time to stop traffic but not to send the workers off the bridge

How on earth does it take upwards of 2 years for this to be investigated?!

I feel so terrible for the families of the victims, so unnecessary and tragic šŸ˜¢
  • Those of us outside that area need to understand the bridge also carries I-695, and neither I-95 nor I-895 are capable of carrying that much traffic (both use tunnels to go under the harbor and cannot carry hazardous materials). The other part of I-695, which swings to the west of Baltimore, will have to carry the load, creating moving parking lots back around to I-95.

I hope they hugely compensate those poor souls that lost their lives. So sorry for their families. RIP

Hi CBS. Itā€™s not a voice data recorder. Itā€™s a voyage data recorder. It does pick up voices but so much more than that. Please correct.
  • ā€œThere is no threat to the public with the hazards onboard.ā€ Isnā€™t that an oxymoron?

12- 24 months to figure out what went wrong? I believe it takes time but that sounds ridiculous.

All hazardous material is a danger to public health. Otherwise, it wouldn't be call hazardous. Honestly, the lies they tell.

one thing to remember is, the dates these bridges were erected.. these big cargo ships, were not that many. hopefully more protective measures will take place, with the not so modern bridges, to prevent this type accidents...

Thatā€™s terror ā€¦hope & prayer for those in that bad situation.
