Ally Venable & Danny Garwood - Going Down - 4/30/22 Dallas International Guitar Festival

Thank you Natasha for filming and sharing this! I'm overwhelmed with all of the awesome compliments on here. I'm trying to keep the blues alive and having a blast doing this. I can only hope to play as good as Ally Venable and someday I'll be able to pull an aspiring guitar player up on stage and give them a chance to shine! Humbled.........

I clicked for obvious reasons, but was shocked at how good that kid is.

For what it's worth......I had no idea that this was going to happen. Her dad messaged me thru facebook and said if I had my guitar with me to meet him at the side of the stage. I had 5 minutes to get ready. I didn't know what song she wanted to play until I got up there and I'd never played that song before. I wasn't nervous until I got up there and saw all the people......holy crap!!! It was still an amazing experience and I can't thank Ally enough for taking a chance and bringing me up there with her. She didn't have to do that. She had never seen me play other than some videos online. Ally and her family are some of the nicest people around.

As a man of culture, I'm delighted to see fellow members gathered here, appreciating the astonishing performance delivered by this young, talented woman.

The kid's solo was something!

That lad deserves to go on and be a true star. He has the music in his heart you can tell by his facial expressions.

i feel like a proud parent. i watched danny grow up as his babysitter. it’s absolutely nuts to me to see him doing these shows. i remember when he first picked up the guitar. so so proud of you danny. you’re doing great things kid 🖤

Not even going to try to hide why I clicked. But the performance overall was good, so no regrets.

"Scrappy Doo", the kid is killin it, and Ally is a ear full and an eye full, WOW!!!!!!!
