Tiffany Valentine, the oldest of two in her family is first shown as a young adult in the 1980s where she meets Charles Lee Ray and begins her relationship with Chucky, but there are many clues about her childhood that can teach us more about her condition and her continual downward spiral into insanity. Tiffany has gone by many names over the years: Tiffany Valentine, Tiffany Ray, Tiffany the doll and Jennifer Tilly.

In this video I'll analyze Tiffany's entire life story, from her years living with her mother and sister, to her spree on the run from with the law from Chucky, to what really happened on that fateful night in 1988, to her involvement in an evil plot in the future, to the possible end of her story at the end of Chucky Season 2 and everything in between.

Feel so sorry for the original Jennifer Tilly... She gets her body taken away, forced to spend years in a cage being the reason her captor succeeds in thinking they're HER, then dies to a truck running her over after realizing she'll never get her life back. Tiffany RUINED her life, and she didn't even get that one bit of chocolate she wanted.

I’d like to believe that Tiffany’s actual hair color is red. Which would explain why the kids were born with red hair (because as a human Charles didn’t have red hair)
  • @Starlight-
I think Tiffany making her doll form look more like “her” even though she was planning to be in a human body soon makes perfect sense honestly. Chucky effectively stole her body from her, by killing it and then using voodoo to force her soul to live on in an object. She’s reclaiming her sense of self by decorating her new form in a familiar way. Similar vibes to the scene in Jennifer’s Body where she’s smearing foundation on her face after the demon possession has taken most of her autonomy away. A lovely nod to women’s relationships with their own bodily autonomy.
  • I can’t even imagine how long a Timeline of Chucky’s history would be.

I remember as a kid i came up with my own Tiffany theories, including one where Tiffany was a hair dresser as a human (what she did as a job) since she was good with hair, was stylish and was able to deal with blades all day. The other theory was that Tiffany was always meant to have twins, but her doll form was so small that there wasn't room for two babies in her womb, so only one ended up forming with two souls in it.

I'm thinking that Tiffany likely witnessed her mother kill their disinterested (and likely neglectful) husband/father, which is where her "kill kink" comes from.
  • Tiffany was a psycho, but I give her credit when it came to Jessie. She gave him pretty good advice about treating jade right. And even let them go at the cemetery when she could've kill them both.

Honestly, Tiffany might be my favorite horror sidekick.

I have my own personal headcanon that Tiffany’s bloodlust was inherited from her mother. Tiffany’s mother didn’t just breakup her father. She killed him in front of Tiffany for cheating on her with a hooker which resulted in Tiffany’s own love of murder to awaken. This would also be the reason why she was okay with Chucky killing her mother and never mentions her father outside of quotes
  • Bride Of Chucky makes for a perfect Valentine’s Day film.

Chucky probably didn’t kill Tiffany for many reasons: 1. She’s a legacy character 2. Don Mancini loves Jennifer Tilly to actually kill her off from Chucky 3. Chucky wants to know where GG is and Tiffany is probably the only one who’ll tell him 4.Chucky won’t admit it but he can’t live without Tiffany.
  • I like how the later versions of Glen and Glenda look like the opposite of each other, Glen looking more Female while Glenda looks more Male, showing that these two characters are one of the same. That is CLEVER character design there, props to them for that design.
  • Chucky wasn't seeing Sarah Pierce. He was infatuated with her and then kidnapped her. Tiffany just equated it to a relationship
  • I find it extremely amusing that the Tilly doll was forced to voice Bonnie in family guy for YEARS
  • @Raeray440
I often thought of Chucky and Tiffany's relationship mirrored Joker and Harley Quinn's relationship in Batman.

I feel so much for Tiffany, aside from the like murdering and stuff, I see a lot of myself in her. She’s tired. Tired of being mistreated, tired of being lonely, tired of being dragged through things only to be left behind in the end. All she wants is to be loved, although her concept of love is misconstrued and demented, she just wants to be appreciated. Especially when she’s talking about the wedding she’s always dreamed about and how those dreams can be poisonous to your sense of self. The line “Once is a blessing, twice is a curse.” has stuck with me ever since I heard it and it’s something I use in my daily life.
  • @tmovies92
would be cool to see Tiffany's childhood explore in season 3, sort of like how Charles' childhood was explored in the first season
  • @That1HotMF
Jennifer Tilly literaly owns this character cant imagine a different actor playing as TIFF
  • Tiffany is probably one of the most interesting characters to me, though I’m not the biggest fan of her ending in the last season of Chucky
