Historic Canterbury England comes alive in this virtual tour of the city and it's famous Canterbury Cathedral grounds. If you've wondered whats Canterbury like, then join us in this 4K walking tour of the city made famous by Geoffrey Chaucer's classic, The Canterbury Tales.
We hope our walks are an ideal aid for relaxation, sleep, meditation, relaxation and ASMR.

We start our walk in front of The Canterbury Tales museum, with the Canterbury Cathedral bells welcoming us to the city. We walk up St Margaret's Street, the grand Cathedral and it's Precincts waiting for us up ahead.

Walking through Christchurch Gate, we walk around the Precincts and explore the Infirmary ruins and the cloisters. From here, we continue to explore the town, including the Westgate Gardens Riverside and the punts on the River Stour.

I moved to Canterbury because I had a girlfriend there, made my best friend there, got my degree there, met and married my wife there and lived with her there before moving to Whitstable. I write this during the coronavirus 'lockdown' of 2020 having lost my wife a decade back and best friend last year and it is wonderful to be able see a City I love and virtually walk its memory-laden ways that I know so well. Thank you, whoever made this. Can you tell me the date that this was filmed, please?

All the best wishes for the Canterbury inhabitants and the makers of this video. My daughter is planning to do her MA from UCA Canterbury. That’s why I searched for this. I should say it’s amazing and gives a real feeling of walking through the streets. Good videography and natural situations, thank you videographer.
  • I love Canterbury; such a charming little city that has managed to retain many of it’s medieval/ Tudor buildings. Of course the most important being the gorgeous medieval cathedral (such a shame it was partially covered - but beautiful nonetheless)! I must say that I also really enjoyed the boat tour (when I went), extremely picturesque, with ancient buildings, greenery and crystal clear water. Thank you for the fantastically filmed video (as always)!

We'll also be taking the opportunity to add other virtual experiences we hope you'll find helpful, for these times when we cannot travel in person. Do drop by and leave a comment, we'll always take time to reply.
