That one hidden room on the elevator up from the grand lift [where u find some of melina's equipment iirc] is so cozy

Jarburg, when you first find it. The view isn't overly special or anything, but you get to hang out with some peaceful dudes, collect a bunch of flowers, and you don't have to fight anyone. It gives you some respite in the middle of utter chaos. Don't advance Hoslow's quest though if you want to keep it that way.

Sometimes I wish Elden Ring was more story and cutscene driven like Red Dead or God of War, and there were actually peaceful towns with a bunch of simple NPCs

as i've been playing through the game, i really never gave the scenery much of a second glance too often because i've been way too entranced by exploring as much as i can. i haven't gotten through the entire game but, the only area so far that i really stopped, looked around and kind of slowed down was at the nokron and nokstella area, very pretty. goated video man

only after killing malenia the biyatch most overrated boss of from soft do i find peace, radahn is a far better boss and tbh the absolute best, the pre-patch radahn was the strongest demigod honestly... the lore itself is enough to make me hate her, btw the boss isnt difficult at all... its just that one press to win button move which is bs... playing a golden order/ erdtree paladin rn... loving it, first build was a redmane paladin XD...
