  • he didn't just carry the submarine and stadium, he carried the whole franchise too.

It’s not just his abilities that are impressive, it’s also about his mastery and understanding of what his powers can do.
  • Magneto is easily my favourite marvel character. A man who survived the holocaust, only to see people like him be treated poorly because of who they are? The concept of having to fight fire with fire makes sense to him, you couldn't beat the nazis by working with them, and that's how he sees the world now. Such a compelling character who has lived through so much pain

I love how magneto knows his enemies so well. Every henchman or guard he just knocks them out with their own weapons. But he knows wolverine has a healing factor and brutally shoves all of those metal rods into his body and throws him away like garbage. He knows he'll survive it but it'll take him a while to free himself from that mess

Fassbender was a perfect casting for a young Magneto. Such a brilliant actor.
  • @FieldofKarpos
When the kid castes for the role as magneto: “So, how’s your screaming?”
  • @paulrandig
Fassbender has his own Magneto personality but still leaves a respectful space for the older Magneto played by McKellen. It is totally believable that one eventually turns into the other.
  • I love it when a character has an ability that seems mundane or not overly powerful at first, but then you realize exactly just how terrifying it can really be when you loose the restrictions and let the character in question just go WILD with it. I feel like teleportation is one other ability that has that kind of potential.

The confrontation at the Argentinian bar has to be my favorite scene for Fassbenders Magneto. "They didn't have a name. It was taken from them, by pig farmers and tailors"...gives me the chills everytime.

Days of Future Past, Apocalypse and Dark Phoenix really showed how powerful Magneto is and why He's an Omega level mutant
  • @Alchemist9572
Ive always loved how protective magneto was of Charles

Ultron : This is what I want…All of you against all of me. Magneto : So you have chosen death.
  • @Benisys
Lets face it, in all X-men saga, they put the most Effort and badass actions for Erik. And Fassbender Was the Perfect Choice, love it.
  • @Xhadp
The CGI in the X-Men movies is top notch I don't think anything can really top it. It is very easy to just make magneto a metalbender like in avatar where everything forms to his will but no everything is kept in its very natural state and he continues to wield it as such and not letting everything be green latern-ifed as soon as he takes control of it.
  • In the entire X-men movie series, I have always felt more relatable to to Magneto than Xavier or the X-men themselves. His pain is genuine and his rage is justified.
  • @oblivion9202
love how powerful he is, destroying the entire planet, lifting a soccer field with ease, even as an old man lifting an entire bridge. The against jean, needs uber focus to lift a bus. Man got nerfed big time lol
  • No matter how overpowered Magneto can be, there's only one true weakness that he can never forget in his lifetime: A gun made out of wood
