I worked at Tesla starting in July of 2017 as an Operations Analyst out of the Bethlehem, PA distribution center facility and left as a Program Manager based out of Austin, TX as of September 2021. I spent most of my time in the distribution and supply chain organizations.

Before Tesla, I was a Director of Business Intelligence and Pricing at the largest Pet Food & Supply distributor in the US, Phillips Pet Food & Supplies based out of Easton, PA. My wife and I also owned a small business in Bethlehem, PA between 2016 and 2019.

I have been a shareholder of Tesla since 2012 and currently own Tesla stock. Nothing I say constitutes as investment or financial advice.

My thoughts are my own and are not representative of everyone who currently works, or has worked at Tesla.

I've spent 40 years in the auto business. After you buy a Tesla you'll never go back.
  • I bought a good amount of TSLA today, I'm focused on the growth of my portfolio this year
  • @chopstix3
Buy any EV, become an EV detractor for the rest of your life. Buy a Tesla, become an EV fan forever. Plain and simple.
  • @scott-yi4sf
Support American companies by American vehicles that's a good enough reason for me to buy a Tesla
  • A prediction. I see Brandon's wife enjoying the car so much that she will buy a Y for her own in 6 months, in a year they will buy the 2020 X and in 2 years he will buy a brand new Model S plaid for himself. I put a reminder on my calendar not to forget.

OMG, I never thought I’d hear Brandon say anything like this. Six months from now his channel is going to be called. “Electric Car Questions Answered”.

Love my 2013 Model S P85 and at 178,000 miles it still has 220 miles of range on the original battery

Brandon, you won’t regret buying a used Tesla. I bought a 2020 model three a couple years ago and it’s the best car I’ve ever driven. I wasn’t in it for environmental reasons mainly for gas savings as well as savings on maintenance. I absolutely love it. I commute 250 miles round-trip twice a week for work and love the fact that I never have to hit up a gas station or change my oil and brake pads.

Brandon, its an easy decision... If you can afford it, get the new Model 3 Performance... If you are on a budget, get the new Model 3 with the budget trim. To start it may not be your everyday drive... but after a few weeks.. . you will not want to drive anything else.

I love Brandon. I’ve been watching Farzad for years, but just started watching Brandon after Christmas. I respect that he gives insider dealer info without disclosing the name of his dealership.
  • 250K miles on 4 different teslas and NEVER had a sensor malfunction NOR have any of them caught fire.

This is a great discussion for those of us who are not closely following Tesla cars!
  • I drive Lyft and I get couples that fight over who get to take the Tesla for the day. Once you have everyday access to ANY EV, it will be you first choice. You will ONLY choose you ICE vehicle for road trips, at least until you are confident in taking the Tesla on road trips. My two Model Ys have made round trips from California to Missouri and my 2019 Model 3 went coast to coast round trip in 2019.
  • @twHomeShow
YES, Brandon! I bought a used model S (2018) last year with 32k miles. I upgraded the screen and internal computer at my local TESLA service center to FSD computer for approx. $2,500. It's now FSD ready! I love driving it.
  • @MH-Tesla
Tires don't wear faster. If you use chill mode. I'm getting as much as any gas car
  • About road tripping with a Tesla. When you stop at a Supercharger, you will know where, when, and how long the supercharging session will last. If you schedule you bathroom stops, especially with kids, meal stops and rest stops around these sessions, you will not be “wasting” your time. You will be dual using the time.
  • @Nerlin
If Brandon has this many questions about going BEV, can you imagine what the average person needs to know before they will jump to an BEV.
  • @CarloHerrmann
Super episode👌. I enjoyed the discussion even after owning a Model 3 Performance for five years. I continue to be amazed hearing all the advantages repeated. I could identify with everything that was said.i get a thrill every time I get into my car. I only have to be careful when my wife is in the car as she does not like accelerating or the fact that it is so easy and tempting to go over the speed limit. Love the expression of doing the ‘Wife Test’ when it comes to putting the car on FSD. That in the end is the real test!! 😂 👍

Can't wait to check Brando's experience with an EV. congratulations 🎉
