What do you all think? Was it a mistake to not put guard towers on the corners??? 🤔
  • I bet your dad is so thrilled to see his sons putting new homesteads on the farm. I’m so excited for you!
  • That brings back a lot of fond memories. I am a retired crane operator and for fun used to set wood roof trusses with a 50 ton truck crane. Set up on one side and set the complete house with 120ft of boom.

Nick! Your wife is so beautiful. You're a lucky man. We all share the excitement you both have. You work so hard. Can't wait to see you all enjoying your new homes. Dad's going to be lonely without the Grands running around. But I know he's so proud of you boys.

Nick, I have to say you scored a home run with your wife, she is a Montana beauty!
  • I can’t tell where it’s raining until it’s almost on top of us. I’ve live my whole life in valleys of the Appalachians in PA. First time we ever saw storms coming was a trip to the Utah-Arizona area for our honeymoon. We couldn’t believe how flat the desert areas were. Farmers in my area couldn’t imagine large level fields. It’s like combining a roller coaster for most of them.

Your wanting to get this puppy dried in before winter, I get it.

I've been building for over 30 years, I'm impressed with the builders of Montana!! You've got an ace Crew building for you, Love your design!

that drain in the basement is actually called a floor sink, allowing devices to drain condensate fluid into the septic system, these have an air break, very common.

There is nothing more soothing for the soul than building your own home!! Whether you do it yourself or oversee the construction of it. Every person should experience this at least once in there life!
  • @MrGerritStok
You guys making progress. Nice to see. Oops about the rain on the wood. It will dry. The winter weat will love it. Take care and wish you blessings.
  • @danrose3233
You are going to love the walk out basement. I miss the one we had in PA. No basements in east TX so not an option here. My dad always said the make of a good construction worker is not in preventing mistakes but how well you adapt and make things work when things do not come out as planned. He was a master at this!
  • @bunnywarren
A 360 camera on the roof would be fascinating to see a timelapse of rain coming across.
  • Guys i dont kniw if yall were big/old enuff to help build ur mom and dads house, but its truly heartwarming to see Bob help yall build ur respective houses(along with the other brother helping), AND of course coby is supervising the job("BARKING" orders !), yall truly are..... "living the dream" and rightfully so, u'v earned it !!!
  • @RJ-rn3uv
Towers in the corner are fine as long as you have plenty of overlapping fields of fire and plenty of ammo.
