Hosted by legendary comedian and “Tonight Show” host Jay Leno, the series explores our obsession with all things automotive. From classic cars to supercars and everything in-between, Jay is hitting the road to discover the most exciting, weird and wonderful vehicles ever made and meet the passionate people behind their wheels. Each one-hour themed episode features a mix of stunts, challenges, reviews, and celebrity interviews that showcases the colorful history of the automobile. Whether he’s exploring the story of an iconic brand, road-testing the newest super car, or investigating the latest automotive innovations, there is no wheel Jay won’t get behind to tell the story of our love affair with the car.

About Jay Leno: Acclaimed TV late night show host, admired stand-up comedian, best-selling children’s book author, much-in-demand corporate speaker, lovable TV and movie voice-over artist, pioneering car builder and mechanic, and philanthropist…it’s no wonder that Jay Leno is widely characterized as “the hardest working man in show business.”

"The factory wasn't much bigger than my garage". Biggest car flex ever.

You know what I like most about these "Pandemic Edition" episodes? No guests. Just Jay Leno and his cars.
  • @ManAcadie
This particular model is up there as one of the most beautiful cars ever made IMO
  • @kayhoww
Nice to see this bit of nostalgia, esp since I set the panel gaps on all GTS models thru ‘98. I was supervisor for the door team and you can see my signature at 6:00

When i see 90's sports cars, I always remember about Gran Turismo 1 on the Play Station 1 and how many hours I spent on it!!!
  • @JosephsCoat
I love how Jay still has enough awareness to realize that $80,000 for a car is a tremendous amount of money for most people. I just love how real he is!

“I can be talked into buying a car pretty quick” it’s a hard ol’ life Jay 😄

In the early 90's, my friend and I were walking by a Chevron as a Viper was leaving and saw us pointing at his car. At the intersection, he made a turn and came back into the Chevron so we could see it up close. I'll always remember that cool guy.

Without even considering the celebrity and money thing, Jay is a cool dude. Wish you many more years of car stuff.
  • Proof that Jay reads the comments: he makes fun of himself for always bringing up the F1

Being a young boy in The Netherlands, I lived near an upscale dealership. Lamborghini's, Ferrari's, high end Mercedes, Porsche, you name it. But the car we all went to see.... the Chrysler (not Dodge in Europe) Viper. A GTS in blue and white just like this one. I was 13-14 at the time. This was the coolest thing we'd ever seen.

The viper was the Car that made me a car guy when I was a kid in the 90s. I hope they bring it back.
  • @FrankValchiria
"The factory wasn't much bigger than my garage" I'm not surprised a bit.

Even tho its 25 years old i still get amazed every time i see them just like i would for the 2020 super cars. Its ageless in my opinion.
  • @SomeJustice19k
What an amazing car. When I was a kid this was THE car and it has aged beautifully.

Gosh I love Jay Leno. How he opens up his garage and actually drives them. I love how whether it is an expensive car or a low-expense car---he loves and respects them all. Real car guy. Thanks Jay.

Jay Leno is just an incredible person. He does good things he doesn't have to do. He's seems like a regular guy that doesn't have to be a regular guy. I admire his dedication to his hobby and his willingness to share it with people. I enjoy learning about the cars but the stories behind the cars - he's a gifted story teller and communicator. One of my favorite personalities. Thanks Jay.

I love how timeless these things look, no sharp edges on the body, sleek and powerful, a true classic.
  • @lifeisgreat1718
I am blessed to have purchased a 96 GTS a few months ago. I love how raw of a car it is

My dad had a shop in downtown Dallas in the early 90's and he worked on some Viper RT's. I just got my license and went to work with him a few times. The Viper was the first manual car I ever drove, and from then on I fell in love with them. The GTS coupe was always my dream car, even today. Thanks for the memories Jay!
