In the real world, Bitcoin is roaring to unheard of and likely unsupportable high prices. In Escape From Tarkov, however, there is a bitcoin price crash. With Hotfix 0.12.10.2.11856 in Tarkov, we have reached a new milestone, as the price of bitcoin has been chopped in half. Forget the 0.2 Bitcoin, all hail the new 0.1 bitcoin! How long will be be before the 0.05 BTC comes around to further change the economy?

I will take a quick tour to look at prices of things like graphics cards, fuel, ratchets, and other things affected by the great bitcoin crash of 2021

I remember before they did the tetriz change for bitcoin, doing late night interchange runs could easily generate an easy 3-5 mill if you hit ultra medical, and all the tech spawns and get out at hole in fence in the first 10 minutes of the raid, it was insane. When they made the hideout changes like making the solar power ridiculously expensive to get, I expected the economy to stay the same, hence the adjustments. Its still beta so of course all of this just lining up for bigger things. Excited to see what BSG are up to.

I don't know the actual reason besides what they stated as balancing out the economy. However, this will severely hurt those that are coming into the game late or are close towards lv 1 bitcoin farm.
