*These are the settings I used for my Anycubic Mega X 3D Printer with White PLA. These settings are not going to work with every printer, or every PLA. Printers have different length bodin tubes, and PLA’s have different melting points. These may not work exactly for you, but should give you a good base to start with if you have a similar size printer. Good luck!

Troy, Nice to see you try an Anycubic printer. I have two and believe they are excellent machines. Thanks to all of your wonderful videos and insight I am just completing the printing of two Big Bobbers . I could not have it without your instruction. Thank very much!

Sick print bro, starting to like the idea of 3d printing my planes.
  • May I ask what profile you started with when developing the modifications you have listed? I have an Anycubic Mega X printer and I'm wondering what the rest of the settings look like. Thanks

Hi Troy. So which printer are you recommending now, especially for a newbie to printing in general and to airplanes in particular? It doesn’t have to be rock bottom priced, just easy to set up and use while producing good thin wall parts. Thanks!
  • Using eyes to calibrate bed level is a flex. Haven't used paper since the ender 2 days lol

Hi Troy, I am needing to upgrade my radio. I have an old digital futaba, and was wondering if you might do a video on the radio and the electronics and motors that you use in your builds, maybe places where you purchase them.
  • @vvinta
Hi question. Is the bed itself supposed to tilt?
  • @MikeSims70
What do you usually recommend to someone looking to get into this hobby who has never flown model airplanes before?
  • Will your setting settings work for regular prints and not thin wall
  • @mikeconnor8014
Great video. Is the Anycubic still working good for you?

Hey troy, I was just wondering if the printer is capable of printing flexible filament without an enclosure

Do you have any experience with the Anycubic vyper? I am looking into buying one and the mega x and vyper both caught my eye.
  • Hi! That is a very nice Video! I will buy the Mega X, too. Greeting/ Luca

Any way to raise the print head to the highest position without printing anything?
