So Brightroar wasn't lost by Tywin's brother... Tywin's brother was lost looking for the sword. I want to say Tommen, a direct ancestor to Tywin went to Valyria in an attempt to plunder the ruins, and was lost to the doom along with the Family sword. That's where Tywin's brother Gerion decides to go to Valyria to find the sword and disappeared himself..

For me it's dark sister is my favorite in house of the dragon

Seeing ice reforged still hits for two main reasons. One is that it’s amazing choreography between the music, lighting and Tywins super subtle smug smile. Second is the emotional impact that came from the swords symbolism for House Stark at its most broken

Milly Alcock is absolutely nailing it as the young Rhaenyra. And to no surprise Matt smith is for his role as well. This is his 3rd TV series that’s become a HIT. Targaryen is my favorite house in the game of thrones world and This world has revived my drive to read again. Im on book 2. A clash of kings

Dark Sister will always be my favorite, because I'm a total Visenya fan girl. Other than that, my favorite sword in A Song of Ice and Fire is Dawn, the ancestral blade of House Dayne, most famously wielded by the Sword of the Morning, Ser Arthur Dayne. Not Valyrian steel, but forged from a meteorite, so even rarer and possibly stronger.

Making and even reshaping such a powerful, magical Steel overall is an awesome concept. Though I really wish there was a Valyrian Steel Spear. Maybe House Martell would've been the best to wield such a weapon. Dark Sister should've made an appearance in Game of Thrones, to help defend the Realms of Men. Red Rain of House Reyne coming back somehow to aid in destroying the forces of House Lannister also would've been poetic.

The sword Meera picks up in Bloodraven's cave has the same crossguard that Daemon's Dark Sister has, we can see that pretty clearly in a close up shot of Meera and Bran where the sword is resting against a tree. The handle isnt exactly the same, but the dragonwings cross seems too unique to be a coincidence.

Catspaw dagger is definitely up there as a fav. Belonged to a conqueror who united 7 kingdoms into one, was then the catalyst for the war of the 5 kings, was used to defeat the knight king and ultimately united the kingdoms under a new king.
