I prayer God will lead me. I pray everyone singing that song is letting God lead them. Singing the song is one thing, but letting God lead in your own life will take Self deniel, Taking up Your Own Cross, and Follow Jesus. Remember following Jesus will lead to the death of self. We must trust God. Praying for all in the group and college to truly follow Jesus. They honor me with their lips but their heart is FAR from Me. Love everyone. The song was stirring. May I BE a Faithful Follower.

So beautiful! Brings back good memories of singing this song in choirs in years past. Knowing that it was written in 1834, and seeing the words that are still the same, with the same meaning, and the same strength, in 2023 when I'm watching, makes one realize that God truly is the Great I Am--who was, is, and is to come--the same yesterday, today, and forever. What joy it is to hear yet another generation singing this song, and that our Lord truly does still lead.
