Exactly bc I’m tired of hearing ppl say “follow your passion”! Like I want to be financially stable first
  • Am I the only one who has so many careers they wanna do that they don’t know which to pick
  • He is absolutely right about focusing on profit before passion. Chasing dreams can leave you broke. I'd been chasing my passion so hard that I was actually leaving money on the table 🤦🏽‍♀️

“If you don’t know what you want to do, you just haven’t tried enough things.” So. Damn. True. That’s exactly what I needed to hear. People learn from their experiences. Thank you Dan!

This is an eye opener for me. When he started saying that "if you're young, you might have not tried many things yet". Deep down, I felt that. I grew up, being scared of trying things because whenever I failed, I was laughed at. I found a hobby I loved deep down when I was 15, after facing my fear of trying something new. Though I'm behind of everyone (currently 17, the hobby is singing), I realized I enjoyed it. Now, this video inspired me to find something i might be passionate about... P.S., I felt that Asian philosophy cause i'm asian 😂

The ideal career is combined profit, purpose and passion..✨
  • i hate how people say you’re too young to know what to do in the future yet make you choose your gcse subjects at 12 or 13 :/

Such an important perspective. Make profit first to free up time to pursue passion. I didn’t really understand why my immigrant parents worked so hard in careers they were not “passionate” about. But I am grateful they focused on providing and making good livings to provide for my brothers and me. Pursuing passion is a truly a privilege.

It is a hard truth but the world runs on money, so it is important to find a balance in passion and profit.
