He wasn't a winner, but he's been called to be "guest judge" in several seasons after him, and his challenge seems to be one of the hardest. Well done, Reynold.

This man is so talented that the judge could ask. “so, Reynold, what did you make?” And he says, “a pile of dirt and a couple of rocks.” And the judge replies “brilliant.”
  • No one will ever beat Reynold in the desert department. He's an artist. He created poetry on a plate. Ive never cried at food before but his dishes made me tear up so bad. Stunning. Simply phenomenal.

I don't think people realize how big of a statement that Micheal Pierre White enjoyed his dish is. He is a stern cook and to see him enjoy something is absolutely amazing
  • @m1992seishun
He's a genius in desserts. I think he can win if it was a dessert competition.

This guy has been legendary since a long time ago, more than deserving to have videos on him
  • @LinguiniSoup
"I tried my best to make it look like an apple" Reynold is the type of guy to get an A on the test and said still said that he could've done better. Man's skilled out of this world
  • @selvi7317
He didn't win the competition but he is the most memorable contestant in the whole seasons.. King of dessert..
  • Personally, Reynold and Po are the two masterchef winners we never had. Not all that they do are perfect but when it is.. it's incredible.
  • @yuvalwh
I love how people know reynold more than the actual winners, he's just the goat
  • 20:48 “So Reynold what did you make?” “Um a pile of dirt and a couple rocks” “Brilliant, Love it” Easily favorite moment out of context ever from master chef
  • @Frey_00
When Chef Pierre said “He has a sous chef’s palette taken into pastry” I had goosebumps. Reynold became the standard of being a pastry chef at this moment
  • @spaceman1501
22:39 Imagine being so good at difficult techniques that the judges RUN to look at your improvised 'master class'
  • Reynold is the one contestant that is better than the judges at cooking
  • @lekoman
I have never teared up at food before… but Down the Rabbit Hole is such a spectacularly beautiful concept, executed with such incredible artistry, I actually wiped a tear from my eye. What an incredible talent.

When Chef Marco and Gordon Ramsay give a complimant towards the desserts, Reynold doesnt need Masterchef titles anymore. Being praise by those chef is like dreams come true in culinary world👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
  • Reynold is here not to compete with anybody. He is competing with his mind, between doubt and possibility. This is his highest form of learning and validation. He is trying to push himself to the highest possible limits and test whether his thesis (artistic, delectable, highly intricate visions) can be executed in absolute balanced perfection and critiqued by the most discriminating palate of the best chefs in Australia and soon the world. For me, his passion released and took the soul of cooking to another level. My respects.
  • You can tell how much the judges appreciate Reynold, when they hug him. They are blown away with his techniques
  • @dhirshg
    1. Judges insane reactions to insane dishes 2. Humble contestant/unfazed 3. How did he not win the whole thing?
  • @sng1474
I always enjoy when you can visibly see chefs become like kids eating sweets again when tasting Reynolds desserts
