I wasn't a fan of this campaign but I did like Gorbachev's speech at 5:36. It's a flip of Kennedy's "we are at grave dangers from the communists" speech in BO1.

This mission alone made Cold War worth buying. Seeing a map with multiple different pathways and objectives you could do was awesome. It's still relatively basic compared to RPGs, but it broke free from the insanely painful linear Michael Bay rollercoaster ride CoD was stagnantly riding into the sunset for years.

I love how when you're Belikov all the Russians are speaking english, but when you're Bell they're all speaking Russian.

13:52 I like how the restricted areas are only in certain compartments of the level and the AI seeing you crouching out of one like speedy gonzales sees as nothing suspicious

The hate that this game got was unwarranted. This is one of the greatest shooting game campaigns I’ve ever played. Well written story. Fits well in the Black Ops universe part of COD.
