we played at ravinia :o || noi week 6

monday: we’re in chicago now :o for ravinia! spent monday at the hotel instead of going to downtown chicago cuz my closest friends are on the side-by-side and if i went into chicago i wouldn’t have seen my friends until after 10pm and i didn’t like that idea :) played pool in the morning with jackie and javier and we were laughing so hard because we bricked so many easy shots LOL explored around the hotel with karen and yun! chilled in the hotel room etcetc

tuesday: we went to ravinia !! got a tour of the grounds and the music box leonard bernstein movie was really cool !! and then we had lunch and rehearsal with marin! maestra alsop let us out of rehearsal early :D so we explored the grounds and then i got to go back early since i wasn’t on the side-by-side (rip my friends) and i started writing all my cards, hungout with friends and sang happy brithday to yun at midnight :D

wednesday: breakfast at the hotel! and birthday lunch to celebrate yun :) and ravinia concert dayyyy, had our dress rehearsal for mahler and then the side-by-side did theirs, took a little trip to the beach before concert time! and then the concert :’) wowie what an experience playing at ravinia with marin alsop and members of the cso. so crazy! got to document karen and yun’s first time eating taco bell!
