This interrupted my vocaloid drawing while listening to Hatsune Miku, and i didn't even felt anything in Corcoran.

My wife works about a mile from our home. She called and asked if I felt the quake? I was at my computer the whole time and didn't feel a thing.

Actually it was a 6.4 and my couch rolled across the floor and my sons pool had huge waves of water splashing out of it! My ceiling fans were moving! It was in Metler

They said "preliminary" guys the quake is larger than what the seismologists are reporting not to scare you
  • That’s a substantial magnitude. Didn’t feel it even slightly in the Bay Area. Stay safe SoCal.

I live in west Ventura County and I got an emergency message on my phone that there was an earthquake. About 10 seconds later I felt a very slight vibration. It was just wild to get the warning before I felt it. However, it makes total sense sense it took time for waves from the quake to reach me whereas the message reached me near instantaneously.
  • I’ve been in California for 67 years and when there hasn’t been a “big one” in several years we always feel like we are due for one. Los Angeles, San Francisco… those two come to mind.
  • I am glad everyone is okay. I have never felt one that strong here in the Carolinas. The lilac outfit Melissa is wearing is very stylish. I love that color!
