Harada didn't lie when he said that Heihachi is dead. He was completely dead and now they resurrected him.

There was no "spirit" that came out of Heihachi; it was a dark punch from Kazuya that when THROUGH his body. Secondly; those "lines" on his chest aside from the original scars on his sternum, is a burned mark in the shape of Kazuya's fist from when he punched him

I’m also in the mindset that this whole thing with Heihachi is what the video says near the end - it’s his literal ‘Resurrection’. They’ve trained someone to be the perfect physical host for Heihachi’s spirit and when ‘the times comes’ his spirit will take over the new body and be brought back. Considering this is a series where we have; giant robots, cyborgs, devils, angels, host control (Azazel inside Zafinas arm) and more wacky stuff; I’m inclined to believe this how the story is going to go. Can’t wait to play as the King of Iron Fist again

I will say that the person we see in the end is actually not heihachi , he has the same logo as the monk on his gi ,when he never had that ,my theory is that that monk(which is probably Lydia's dad) somehow got remained of heihachis body and infused it to his own (that's why his punches have the mishima spark) and through some magical bs he completely becomes hei, thats why he says "im mishima heihachi" because he wasn't before

I was getting big Jinpachi vibes too and a side by side his clothing is very similar, I wouldn't be surprised if he has some Jinpachi moves, now that Reina took some of Hei's moves, feels consistent with the design flow.

Also, Heihachi didn't have that tekken monks logo on his chest in 7.

I'd love jinpachi still being alive. they can make it how him turning into dust and disappearing wasn't death, just his devil power or whatever it was using some teleportation technique to escape

Harada said the data mine leaks were old so meaning yes fahkuram n Marduk are more than likely coming back but just not this season pass and I doubt this takes away from Reina it just means all the heiachi mains got 2 characters they can switch between now

I was thinking that the monk was just heihachi with his hair combed down so he can wear the hat and not be recognized. That or he has a long lost uncle. I don’t think it’s Jinpachi because Jinpachi was much taller than

My theory is that the masked dude is Lydia's dad (they show his picture when the mask is being taken off), and it turns out he wasn't killed, but just taken in by Heihachi. That would leave the younger looking post resurrection Heihachi as the actual Heihachi, likely after some ritual involving the dad and that red moon

Heihachi climbing out of the volcano fits in perfectly with series' over the top and goofy tone. Tekken has already gone to ridiculous lengths to resurrect Kazuya after Tekken 2, Heihachi after the arcade version of Tekken 5 and everyone killed by Ogre (RIP King I, Ogre's only canon victim).

jin and kazuya team up would be crazy

His hair looked black on the trailer because he was burnt by the volcano which gave his hair a somewhat of a coal black colour change and u can actually see his white hair if u look close enough but also the lightning effect could be another thing.

I wonder what heihachi reaction is going to be since Jin is a angle know in kazuya is full power devil

Tekken 7 Heihachi was Heihachi’s secret older brother all along😂

It’s a really good breakdown and you’re the first to mention about Ogre, when I first saw the trailer I noticed what looked to be ogre (could be a statue) in the top right hand side before Heihachi emerges (not from the volcano btw) the explosion is at the dojo. I think the reason we got Eddy, then Lidia and now Heihachi is because they all have dlc story relevance. I don’t know how Eddy is involved but Lidia’s dad was assumed dead after a plane crash, but I believe he’s the head monk and maybe when Kaz punched Heihachi and that purple stuff came out it was his spirit or essence and Lidia’s dad has been the host whilst they tried to bring Heihachi back. The 3rd person in that photo I do now think was Heihachi and there has been some theory that Lidia is either Reina’s mother or mentor but who knows. I do think ogre resurrects Heihachi and will be our 4th dlc character he has orange, is connected to the story especially with the expansion looking at Jun, and has chains either way that would be hype. Dropped a sub to help out you’re very close to 80k so that’s good lol.

I think that heihachi at the end is a flashback while the one in the mask is Heihachi now
