This case started out as a department cover up. First the police stated it was an intruder who took her life. Then they said it was self inflicted and once the family began pressing them for video footage the police department came clean and told them that it was really a cop involved case. That is why the family is asking for the Sheriff to step down. #Corruption #CoverUp #Lies

It's time to put some legislation in place to limit bad cops getting rehired in different locations

That poor woman was murdered. Sadly, there are more cops out there like him

The other cop had his gun pointed at the woman too instead of telling the other cop to put his gun down. He should be charged with something too. They shouldn't have went in her house to begin with.

How was that man even an officer in the first place!?

We can buy Bombers for 2 Billion dollars each but we can't afford to properly police and educate our cops much less our children. WTF are we doing?
  • Police should be properly trained. Psychopathic murderers should not be eligible for the position.
  • I donā€™t know why a grieving mother would feel the need to say Iā€™m sorry over and over again!!! for what!!! Donā€™t even let them interview you maā€™am! Heck!!!!

The police in any situation 90% of the time are responsible for escalation.

It's not uncommon for officers with professional problems to move from agency to agency. I found this out 20 year ago when I reported an officer to the police Chief for his disproportinate, unprofessional response to me. I was concerned for the officer's mental state because he clearly was provoked and had been fuming long before I came along. Turned out he was a problem cop from LA and a few other agencies. The chief fired him but he got another job. Every time my community gets a new officer I now wonder what their history is.
  • Because he's not a good employee that is why he keeps moving around

Nothing is going to change and we all know it. Being a police officer is a difficult, and low-paying job and not many people want to do it. Small police departments around the country have no choice but to hire whoever they can get
