Playing it isn't enough I need to eat the game
  • The original soundtrack was a masterpiece but it was a bit all over the place (if you know the history of World of Goo, this makes perfect sense). This one ups it in every way I can think of, from the mix, to the instrumentation chosen, to the tracks that are new. Huge respect to everyone that poured their heart and soul into making this as good as it is.

11:03 The moment the motif from "Welcome to the Information Superhighway" from the first game kicked in, I came close to genuinely weeping. World of goo meant so much to me as a kid, it's nothing short of wonderful to have this game now.

"Welcome to the Information Superhighway" has genuinely one of the most emotional and nostalgic melodies ever. So the fact they made MULTIPLE remixes of it has made me beyond happy. Other Personal Favorites: (12:03) This part is so BEAUTIFUL!!! 😭(Information Superhighway REFERENCE!!!) (26:42) Any variation of Tumbler just never fails to disappoint... (46:49) IM NOT CRYING, YOU ARE! (48:58) I genuinely didn't think Screamer could get scarier, yet here we are. (59:47) GENUIENE JAW DROP. (1:07:54) so beautiful... (Information Superhighway REFERENCE #2 AHHH!!!
  • Honestly, my fav might be Atomic Express. The high chords mixed with rock elements gives the effect of a train that does. Not. Stop. and will go on until time immemorial.
  • 1:27:51 Its truly beautiful listening to this version of the title music of little inferno, it gave me a big felling of nolstalgia and calm.
  • @BlairSFX
I think "A Distant Signal" might be my favorite track from the soundtrack so far. I'm so thankful the Threadcutter leitmotif is still here, and those sci-fi sounds in the background are incredibly catchy. The song has this mysterious yet majestic vibe that perfectly captures the vibes of the chapter.
  • @Gabonation
they even included a reference to ode to the bridge builder or brave adventurers, genuinely one of the peak games of all time
  • @Jblade343
1:02:32 burning man was one of my all time favorites, and I love the new feel they put in it, mixing some of the old and new vocals, gave me chills when I first heard it Edit: graphic processing was awesome too, I love the fact they kept the end part the same, cuz fact is, without it, it wouldn’t give the same feel 1:25:29
