Pay attention to how the Bulls dominated the offensive glass. The Bulls had 24 offensive rebounds in this game, and overall outrebounded Seattle 51 to 35. Dennis Rodman led the way with 19 rebounds... 11 offensive. Seattle had 12 offensive rebounds as a team. Jordan had 9 rebounds, Pippen and Longley had 8 each.

Dennis Rodman was the star of this game... 9 points 19 rebounds 11 offensive rebounds 5 assists 3 steals 1 block 0 turnovers in 38 minutes
  • Noone talks about how good the 96 sonics was too, MJ tha 🐐 kept alot of other greats thru the 90s from winning πŸ† s
  • This was the thing that was missing with the 73-9 Warriors. While the Warriors showed their dominance in the regular season, their fatigue showed throughout the playoffs. Struggled to a 4 seed Blazers, despite winning 4-1, nearly got booted out by OKC, and then got to the Cavs series trying to hide their fatigue and weariness using their aggression and cockiness (especially Klay Thompson pregame 5) only to give up the last 3 games, 2 of them at their once dominant Oracle Arena. Jordan and the Bulls kept their heads up and dominated all throughout the playoffs. The Supersonics series was a bit of a scare because of them forcing Game 6, but the Bulls were very resilient and never let their mental guards down, not like the Warriors.
  • This was the CHICAGO BULLS TEAM that made them PBA icons especially a man named Michael Jordan.

And after all these years, I'm still pissed off at Brown for trying to grab that ball at the end.

One of the most memorable/emotional moments in sports. Jordan sobbing in memory of his dad
  • The Bulls showed that they can win even when their superstar was having an off game. MJ was held down to just 22 points and his shooting was woeful, shooting 5 of 19 from the field. But the other Bulls stepped up their game. Scottie Pippen - 17 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals Luc Longley - 12 points, 8 rebounds Ron Harper and Toni Kukoc - 10 points each Dennis Rodman - 9 points, 19 rebounds (11 offensive rebounds) and putting Shawn Kemp off his game Steve Kerr - 7 points MJ knowing his shots weren’t going down maintained his high level of Basketball IQ in his part, finding ways to score from the line hitting 11 of 12 FTs and playing the role of facilitator, helping his teammates to score while grabbing 9 rebounds and handing 7 assists to compensate his poor shooting. The 96-98 Bulls team isn’t all about MJ and Pippen anymore.
