I hope svavar's braids are now in the national museum in Iceland

Absolutely amazing. Not heard Solstafir sound this fierce for a very long time.
  • The guitar sound is fantastic, love the rawer direction! Nice teaser for a new album...

I love how the second part just builds the pressure, then boom, silence, guitar, melodie and we drop back in again - now the pressure is gone and it feels weightless, then we go heavy. Love, love, love you guys,

I was definitely not expecting the speed and heaviness. Such a great band that isn't afraid to mix it up. Whatever they do still sounds like them and authentic. Looking forward to the next song they release.
  • (Post) Black Metal with a strong 80ies Slayer "Angel of death" - vibe. Totally love it. ❤
  • A country with some 400 000 people have so many great bands.

That atmosphere in the beginning… and then “oh here it comes some icelandic rock n roll… no wait… it’s extreme… almost black metal… and then adalbjorn sings agressively.. with his majestic voice… turns into a funeral-like heavy metal.. and comes back to a blast beat extreme metal… and then… wait… whats that riff? Metallica? No.. its pure solstafir…. And blast beat again… agressive… just wow

Really fast quasi-black, true metal Sólstafir is something that is unheard of for quite some time.

Eins og við má búast, helvíti sterkt og gott lag. Hólavallakirkjugarður upp á sitt fegurasta. Skemmtileg upprifjun á látunum úr norðurkjallaranum blandað með nútímanum. Bravó drengir!

man, i haven't heard Solstafir be this heavy in like 13 years, since Svartir Sandar. this sounds like something off Masterpiece of Bitterness or Kold. i love it.
  • @Gubbinss
One of the best songs ive heard so far in 2024!
  • Almost 20 years now, these guys have been my favourite band! Absolutely love their sound and all the new things they add/corporate to their sound on every album. Can't wait for the next one to drop... ❤
