What is it REALLY like owning a Rivian R1T? Built ready, go freely with the ultimate 3-in-1 portable mobile power solution: Anker 3-in-1 Power Bank (5,000mAh): shop.anker.com/Y33UHq Anker 3-in-1 Power Bank (10,000mAh): shop.anker.com/Rczsc8 and Thanks to Anker for sponsoring this video. #Anker3in1powerbank

My truck is one of the first 2000 Vehicles that Rivian ever made. And its held up surprisingly well. I have some issues with dirt collecting under the bed. (It gets caught between the tailgate and the bed itself, as the tailgate opens and closes.) But other than that it is a beast of a machine. And super fun to drive.

“ glass is glass and glass breaks ” will forever remain timelessly poetic

Huge props to Rivian for allowing you to bring and record with a camera

"I was raised in a Rivian gear tunnel." 2042 Yearbook quote.
  • As an Rivian engineer, this review made me smile. Glad you have loved your truck so far, the best is yet to come.
  • I mean that was his son seeing him grew so big made me emotional, time goes so fast from electric hummer when first his son came along. Time goes by so quick

I love my Rivian. It’s clearly an engineering run company, not an ego run place. You can feel the passion that has gone into the details from the minute you drive one…
  • When I haul mulch, sand, and/or dirt in my truck, I line the bed with a blue 10x12 tarp. It keeps the bed fairly clean and makes it easier to get all the cargo out. When it's almost empty, I can fold the tarp in on itself and drag the last of the cargo out.

As an auto technician, it's nice to see how these are put together, but I also feel for the guys having their work watched by the customer and showed to millions online 😂

honestly refreshing to hear you comment about the registration fees in such a level-headed way. Too often people see fees and they don't see how they are vital to our society working properly.

That kid's interaction is so good Kids are so smart and their questions are genuine curiosity ❤

I'm considering getting rid of my Model Y Performance and replacing it with a 2023 Rivian R1T or R1S, so it's comforting to know that as someone who doesn't baby their cars or tech, you've had a good experience. Thanks for everything.
  • I remember the time when junior zack was born and now he is approaching his father and asking him question, It really made me emotional

I'm at 32k and loving every mile. One windshield chip repair and a year later one crack and a windshield replacement. I didn't get to watch the windshield being replaced like you did so that was very interesting to me. Original tonneau but its still working (knock, knock). Thanks and keep the videos coming.

I love how you blur your license plate, but have that massive billboard on the side of the truck for your dope wheelchairs..

I’m certain D-Brand will come out with a Rivian Teardown skin and then CASETiFY will come out with the exact same one.
  • @nickob
    That $1800 windshield is crazy.
  • Love your video. Honestly some of your videos helped us keep our Rivian preorders. Now 2 years 27,000 miles for r1T and 1 year 13,000 miles on our R1s and we love them. I use mine as a work truck too. Hauling, towing, running power tools for my A1 Concrete Leveling franchise. It has been a great truck. Loved your video about the battery recycling plant too. Keep them coming. Great job.

I really like your narrative and the positive views even when talking about the cons or mishaps with your truck! I'm glad that you have enjoyed it!😁
