Just some useless information before I continue: This is my THIRD upload of the exact same video.
Back to my note: I am so exhausted. I worked on this all of Sunday, all of yesterday, and a little bit of today. The reason this was so exhausting was because the original song I was using for this.... I didn't catch the lyric, or in better words, understand it, solely because I am that oblivious type of person and it only hits me until after I listen to it more than once do I catch it. So, the original song I discovered had an inappropriate lyric.
My back was at a wall, but I had two paths ahead of me.
That lyric was only mentioned once, and I could just use it, or, not using the song at all and having to get rid of everything I worked on because the lyrics of another song & theme wouldn't fit what I managed to fit together.
More useless information: I spent a good hour fitting 2-4 scenes together to match it up with the original song, so, you're just going to have to imagine how freaking stressed out I was.
Eventually I made the decision of getting rid of the song and I ran through my playlist for a good five minutes looking for songs with the same mysterious kind of theme that the original had.... and I came across this one. I heard a nightcore version of the song first and fell in love with it about a year ago, then completely forgot of the song's existence up until a few days ago when I re-found it. I love the nightcore version, but the original is just beautiful. SVRCINA'S range is insane, too, and to find she is a Christian as well makes my heart happy.
So, I used this song and to my surprise and by the grace of God, I didn't end up having to delete all of my original work! They all fit really nicely - maybe even better with this song rather than the original! This left me overjoyed, but.... having only 4-5 scenes fit together, and this song is roughly four minutes long, I was not yet finished. I put together maybe six scenes yesterday before calling it a day (I think because of a headache? I can't remember...) and then today I finally finished.
And it is doubtful I will ever make a XC3 GMV again because of the game itself and what it contains. I was waiting for the game's arrival in 2022 and when it released, I checked the ESRB ratings to see if it was good, only to find out it contained sexual crap. So, I have simply refused to play - but the storyline is still good. I got a lot of inspiration from the game, and it helped me come up with a good story of my own. Originally my book wasn't technically supposed to be "Christian", more so about the kids in my book discovering freedom and learning how to heal after their trauma - until God told me this:
"Yeah, um, you know that book your writing?"
"Yeah....?"
"Yeah, that's my book."
So! That's how my book went from originally not being Christian (since all I've ever written IS Christian books since I was young) to BEING Christian! It was pretty amazing, actually, and I'm grateful I didn't disobey. The Lord has shown me so many scenes - and even told me about certain characters, their personalities and their struggles - especially ways He wants to reach them to reach the readers.
Anyway... I'm getting wayyyy off track here...
I just wanted to make a GMV of XC3... kind of a "thank you" GMV type thing because it inspired me to write this crazy story of mine.
I hoped all of you like it! I don't think I'm going to upload much more of this week, if I do, it'll probably end up being a small, short video of some kind... only because I've done a lot already and I need a break. Time to focus on my book, spending time (or trying to, at least... it's been sort of a struggle) with my family and spend some time with God.
