i absolutely love the representation of the paleozoic period life you managed to make some the weirdest creatures from that time adorable without going off the rails adding or removing stuff

As someone who makes terrariums and owns an isopod colony, IM HAVING A SEIZURE THE ANIMATION STYLE IS ADORABLE

“I am bothered to a high degree” “Can’t say no to a snack” “The accessibility of that encounter is comforting, and I like that.”
  • This is amazing. Isopods getting such adorable recognition, and the stunning atmosphere you’ve created with the ambient sounds, music, and lighting??? Absolutely fantastic

This actually made me tear up. The animation it so gorgeous yet simple and the storytelling was beautiful. I'm gonna go feed my pet isopods right now and give them the love they deserve

This made me cry. I found myself narrating it to myself, and crying. Inverts never get this cute animated treatment and I'm so happy that science and art have come together and that you made this. Thank you.

This reminds me of one of those animal folk tales such as “how the camel got its hump” or “how the snake lost its legs” but this time it’s with woodlice which is way better. Great work mate, the setting of it being in the Palaeozoic specifically just makes it even nicer in retrospective given how it shows how much arthropods and their relatives dominated back then, alongside amphibians and mollusks too.

It's so awesome to spot so many animals of the paleozoic!! It's really rare to see animals from that era being represented in media nowadays, so it's really awesome how you filled your animation to the brim with these less known animals, even if most people won't recognize!

These designs are so criminally adorable AND accurate. I popped off when I saw that velvet worm, especially when they used their slime to string up some shelter for the lil’ isopod! I bawled watching this, but in a happy way. Both for the love of nature, and the love of animation, that this makes so crystal-clear.

This is now one of my favorite things, and I'll tell you why. You use of colors, both the variety and combos, are gorgeous💕 The way you express emotions simplistically, not needing too many details to know what the characters are feeling, how you convey to the viewer what's happening without and verbal dialog, your "simplistic" art style, that you can actually see the sketch lines, rather than being "clear-cut", your backgrounds, the different atmospheres, the multitude and various creatures present, their designs and the difference color choices and combos, the score, the lighting, etc. And that's only a short list of the things that caught my attention and made me love this. I seriously can't even imagine all the hard work, effort and dedication that went into making this. I'm seriously so proud of you💞 Excited to see what other treasures you have in store for the future😊
  • I’ve watched this probably 5 times already and I’m 51 years old 😂 ...the sweetest thing ever!

You never really see arthropods represented as cute and this is honestly so adorable

This is the second animation about prehistoric isopods that YouTube has shown me today. Sometimes... sometimes the algorithm is good.

Beautiful piece! Love arthropods and it's so rare to see them as the main focus of a movie! Your visual developpement is really something amazing <3 Wonderful work

Roly Poly have always been adorable. I am amazed they have so many names!

Not me being an Entomologist and tearing up over this! Absolutely phenomenal work, so lovely to see arthropods being represented in such a whimsical, adorable way as they truly are <3 I love the stylistic choices, colouring and everything about this so much, it really made my day! <3<3<3
