Participants from Hearing Youth Voices, NL Parent Advocates, All Souls Unitarian Universalist Congregation New London, Connecticut College Teacher Education Program, and the Council on American–Islamic Relations, among others, came together on August 17, 2014 to show solidarity with those who are protesting the murder of 18-year-old Mike Brown and demanding an end to police brutality.
