PC Cases just seem to be copy and paste of the SAME designs over and over... which is why this case is exciting because Cougar actually did some things that no other brand has done before!

According to the ads there are a lot of single cougars near me

Hi Jay! We're really glad you liked the FV270, thanks so much for covering it. We took a pretty big leap of faith with the design; we totally get that some people will hate it, but we're confident that it'll have its fans. We're absolutely taking notes: we're always looking to improve, and your idea for a bottom dust filter will be implemented on a future product, and we're working on an immediate fix for the rotating platform noise. Also a big thank you to everybody commenting: we promise we're listening.

    Looks like a small refrigerator
  • Rocking one of Cougar's cheaper (boring) cases. When I bought the case it came with a defective start switch. When I contacted Cougar, they rushed me an entire replacement front panel for my case at no charge and I got it in 2 days! I paid $39.95 for the case new!!! I don't really care if their stuff isn't considered "top notch". Their customer service IS and that speaks volumes about the company. My next build will be in one of their cases!

I thought that was a fucking shower in the thumbnail

Can we get a smoke test to see the flow for this??

I had a friend who's dad owned a 1964 Plymouth Barracuda. Those things have curved rear glass and he had a spare, just because of how expensive it would be to replace. I can only imagine how much that curved glass cost back in 1964.

You know, Cougar is one brand I've always really liked. Like they don't really make "S tier products", but damn do they try different things and I love them for that. They are the one brand that I look at from time to time and see just completely unique and different things they try in a lot of different product categories, and it is so great to see some brands still willing to be different and try different things. Variety is so desperately need these days when we are near the point of every product being copy paste "corporate grey" kinds of products.

Did we forget that the Hyte Y60/Y70 exists around here? Well, I guess it doesn't matter because this arguably offers a better value than the Y70 for being a good deal cheaper.

Please start doing builds in these videos. It makes a huge difference.

With a little paint and some 3d printing that would be a really cool Starwars Sandcrawler build.

Manufacturers need to stop putting the USB's and power buttons on the top of what is obviously a desktop intended case! Why on Earth would you spend $200.00 on a glass case and stick it under your desk? You would have to be 7' tall to see and use the top mounted ports / buttons from a seated position!
  • Yes, please do a build, even if it's a generic one with the "basic" parts you have around the shop. Would make these vids soooo much more informative, even though it would probably triple the amount of work for Phil.
  • I did not even notice the GPU bracket until you mentioned it, very useful addition to most cases these days.
  • I appreciate new case ideas and designs. While this one isn't for me, I like that some manufacturers are still trying to think of new ways to present what is essentially a rectangle.

Just when I finally narrowed down my options for my upgrade build. A new case is brought out. Well, back to the drawing board
  • Thanks Jay. I don't do heavy research on what's available to build a computer, and I really enjoy the components you bring to your channel for people like me to consider. This is definitely a case I'd use.

Ahhhh Another fish tank.... I mean PC case LOL
