  • The dou. 45 Mauser K98k sling is really a repurposed gasmask canister strap. You'll find an example of this in the book "Hitler's Garands". I have one and it fits great on my ac K43.

Alot of dings and dents in the dot stock but the finish appears uniform. I am going to say it's been professionally refinished.

Lovely Guns !!!!!!! Thanks for sharing Tom 🤝😎👍😁
  • Tom, I ran out of tears a long time ago. You are one lucky man, no envy.

Absolutely a refinished 98k. Reblued and heavy cleaning on the wood. I’m sorry to say it but I just can’t walk past all the comments about how “historic” it is without saying it. It was in original condition before someone decided to pretty it up to “factory” condition.
  • Excuse me l had to STOP the video and pick up my jaw before l looked at the rest of it.....Super WOW W0W...Thanks so much...!
  • That “Sling” is a strap for a gas mask canister with the rubber reinforcement on it.
  • Lugar’s are very very nice 👍 true history of guns for sure , loved 🥰 the channel 👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
  • Man, that mountain carbine is something else... very nice pice. I love your show keep up the good work brother. -JDS

How on earth does one find unissued WWII german rifles in super pristine condition???? Someone built a time machine and he's not sharing...
  • @devinj.3657
WOW!! Amazing video! I loved them all! Would take the PP in heartbeat!
  • @johnburrows1179
Guaranteed these were brought home by high ranking officers after the war. These weren’t brought back by a GI. They only had their duffel bags to throw things in and carry. Some General or the like had these shipped special, along with only knows what else. Awesome guns👍👍
  • @Gr8thxAlot
Absolutely beautiful! We'll never know, but the story behind these must be amazing.
  • I actually came across an extended series 1900 DWM Luger in 7.65 Para a few years ago, S/N 7*45. It has all original parts (including grip panels), and was restored by John V Martz. Has the "JVM" in oval on the frame (under the side plate). The bluing, strawing, and flaming of pins and screws are all near 100%. It has gone to the range once (with my two sons and myself) for function check firing. If you were to ever do a story on JVMartz and his guns, I would gladly send my Luger into Legacy.
