Hello Alex, i wanna tell you that since you posted that first beekeeping video i fell in love with the art of bees. My army contract ended so i got stranded without a job and i thought, bees... why not? Alex did it right? And so i did, i asked my father for help, and we bought our first two hives! (last year), WELL LOOK AT ME NOW! Im out here catching swarms, making candles and i have more than 20 hives now, and i love this bee world so much, thank you for inspiring me Alex, in a way, it was all thanks to you!

Alex, just want to let you know you inspired me. At 48yr of age, I decided to take a sabaticle, I bought a converted campervan and will be travelling Europe over the next months with my dog! Quite nervous but excited at the same time 🙂

I knew we’d be getting a new episode soon with spring in full swing. Can’t wait to watch 40 minutes of beekeeping

Hi Alex, I don't think we can thank you enough for the quality of your content and most of all for this place of positivity, creativity and serenity that you offer. Internet is a vast platform full of a lot of overwhelming things and some affect most of us negatively. Your channel really represents a safe isle, calm and of interest, where we can learn about nature. You are doing what you like and sharing it without ambition to change yourself for digital attention. The beautiful values and authenticity that you share are very precious. I am glad I discovered this channel. I wish you all the best.

Mr. Alex, I'm across the pond in USA and we re-queen differently. Sometimes after the bees start making a replacement queen, a mated queen is rejected. Remove the queen and leave the bees overnight is long enough to accept a new mated queen before the bees start making a new queen cell. When things are blooming, your queen acceptance is very easy, later in the summer more time may be required before removing the cork on the plastic cage.. Nice to see things going well for you after traveling away from your old home.

Never a better time to be on YouTube than when Alex posts. Amazing content alex keep it up! ❤

Let’s go bro🤘, you’re literally the reason I started beekeeping. You gave me courage to start something totally alien to me.

Watching your videos gives me so much peace and inspiration. I often go back to re-watch your videos if I'm having a tough time because they are so interesting and wholesome. Especially your bee videos. I'm so happy that you have continued to keep and expand both your bees and your YouTube channel. Thank you so much for continuing to be you, for facilitating the existence of bees, and for sharing all of it with the world 💜✨
  • It is lovely to see how much more confident you are now handling your bees & Hives! You handle it like a real pro now !

Hey Alex, I'm going through a bit of a rough time but your videos never fail to make me happy and bring me ease. Thanks for posting your adventures 😊
  • Hey alex i am really happy your youtube channel has grown enough for you to get sponsors, but please be mindfull of what sponsors you accept, because better help is not a good company. They have on multiple occasions sold user's data that the users thought was confidential conversations to their therapist to third parties. I hope you are able to steer clear of better help sponsorships in the future!

Hi Alex, myself and my Mrs are in the south West of the UK, yeovil to be exact. I've been a keeper since 2016 . We've been through all the ideas, highs and lows of the start and the continuation of bee keeping . If anyone sees Alex's videos please become a bee keeper . We've 10 hives, I can easily make another 5 hives, we do splits . It's like watching your videos from our past . Love your videos. As a note , candles we tried with candles over a period of time . If we could go back , I would use the wax Cappings , I would use it all for using it to coat plastic foundation , giving the bees a massive head start. Selling candles depends on location , price etc . Put your earnings back into the hives , but not into so much gear . I've loads of boxes we don't use .

  • Just Alex here from Puerto Rico a beekeeper, try to use a wine cork, shape it to fit ur smoker spout and plug it to stop the smoker and it saves fuel and shut off good luck. Lov ur videos even the gardening.

I love how you upload/schedule so early, I'm rarely up this early but always a treat to start the day with a relaxing video.
  • I'm not commenting on the veracity of Better Health, nor am I critical of the start of ads in Alex's videos. It just makes me smile when I think "He's away to Bristol now, needs some coin. Hasn't got his nice parents' house in Sussex now." Go you, solve them problems.
  • A couple of your old videos when you started “Just Alex” have popped up in my feed today. We never watched the channel you did with your brother, but myself and my husband found your channel just after you went on your own. We have loved every video you have made and I just wanted to tell you that I’m so happy that your channel has been successful. We cannot think of anyone more worthy to do well in life. We look forward to more of your great videos. Thank you “Just Alex” 😘
  • @ballonhead100
I loved your mushroom foraging videos, hope there will be more to come in the future
  • @karsbebelaar3919
'I've found the queen! Why is she always on the last frame I look at???' Because you stop looking after that XD (once again great video by the way)
  • @losik01
I'll never have bees, but I'll watch it anyway because your films are so interesting
