I didn't think the ending for that one would need to be explained, it's a sledgehammer of tragedy and despair right to the face...

This movie is so disturbing. I had a roommate in college who was obsessed with Jared Leto so we watched it and NEVER AGAIN 😖

This was my bf's fav movie. I never got to see it with him. I prolly won't ever be able to now knowing the subject matter is just too close to home. I miss him every day. R.I.P. 💔

One of the reasons Requiem for a Dream is so hard to watch is because all of the things that happen to the characters are things that can and do happen to real people all over the world. All of the horror and sadness of this film is real.

I’m an EMT and i believe everyone needs to watch this film at least once in their life. it’s an eye opening movie that shows the affects of what a single high or pill can do to someone’s life. How one shoot up or pop of pills can lead to a world of suffering and misery just to escape reality. truly sad and i hope those struggling with addiction can find peace and healing 🤟🏻

Lived this life before. So thankful I got sober and no more pain and despair.

I watched this when I was 19 and in college and it freaking devastated me. I cried so hard after watching this and it took a while for me to get it out of my head.

I hate drugs because of this movie and that was the main message.

This movie is a masterpiece! It is a hard watch but a masterpiece, nonetheless.

One of my favourite movies of all time. So well made and executed. Some people can’t believe I can love such a devastating film but that’s why I love it, the amazing work of how utterly tragic and devastating you feel from it makes it a masterpiece.

This might be an unpopular opinion but to me requiem for a dream is so unsubtle that it almost resebles a government ad against drug use

One of the best and scariest films I have seen I can watch horror all the time but this film was on a different level.
