I made this soup tonight. My friend said that she hated me and that she felt like a beggar since she can't stop eating my food. That's how good this soup is! And nothing can make me feel happier than making delicious food for my friends and family. Thank you, chef John! You're simply brilliant! :)

Chef John, love your joyful commentary. First, this soup is the one. No disappointment. Worth the very small effort. The perfect bowl of comfort while stuck home with rino- virus. It is now in permanent rotation and will be my go-to chicken soup recipe to recommend.

My chicken just went into the oven! Really looking forward to the finished product. This looks spectacular. Both my boyfriend and I are under the weather at the moment, and I have no doubt that this soup will. Have is feeling better in no time.

Chef John I have been eyeballing this video for 2 weeks now and I finally got down to business today and gave it a try, roast broth and all. It is hands down, the single best chicken noodle soup I have ever had! You and your videos are classy and amazing! Keep up the great work.

You are my go to guy.  I made this stock and chicken soup 2 days ago.  First time ever, and they came out delicious.  They are so easy to follow and taste like a pro made them.  Thanks!

This is one of my favorite "how to cook" channels on youtube. Great recipes and a real soothing voice. They need to give him a cooking show on Create or some other cooking channel.

A dish is perfect not when anything more can be added, but when nothing can be taken away. A nice rendition of this classic.

This is one of the best explanations/visual examples of how to simmer a stock I've ever seen. Well done!!!

Listening to you talk in this video reminded of the time my high school dance teacher spent a class period with us laying down and listening to a meditation cd. Especially are 3:00. :) I'm feeling rather refreshed...

I'm going to try roasting my chicken thighs before making my normal soup recipe, because I typically make fairly big batches and freeze them in pint containers. I really love all your great ideas, tips and tricks. This is one of the very best channels on all of YouTube, for sure.

Hi chef John! Absolutely love you and your recipies, too! 😘 I've made this loverly roasted chicken soup many times...one of our favorites. I save some of the dark meat as well as I find it to be delicious and moist. Thanks for your videos which never fail to cheer me up and inspire me to make yummy dishes! 👏🏻👍❤️, Pat
