Hiking the South Downs way! This was personally a tough hike for me, with the solid chalk and flint paths and being out of practice. This was a tough one on foot but a beautiful hike, transversing the English countryside.

Thank you so much for watching! Take care & Keep Smiling

Living the dream that most of us could never realistically get to live. But at least we have channels like this to give us a few moments of living the dream through a creators experience. Thank you ❤❤
  • Your enjoyment of the outdoors is so contagious. I'm not able to get out so thanks for the great video.
  • Looks like a very fun trip! It is great to have a partner along who provides support but also gives you space to take in the experience on your own. I always appreciate your editing in giving us a sense of the land and the animals you encounter along the trail.
  • @no_soy_rubio
Great video, there are two routes from Alfriston and I would recommend taking the opposite one to the one you took, across the Seven Sisters. It's harder work, but it's easily the most spectacular part of the whole walk

Takes me back to my uni days about 20 years ago, hiking the South Downs with a group of friends and my then-girlfriend ... wild camping in a field, getting wet in the rain. Loved every minute of it! It's nice to be reminded of those days. Enjoy it while you can!

I really enjoyed that Becky. I also did the SDW in April and in the same sort of time as yourself. I agree about spring being a good time to do this trail; the colours, sunshine and new life everywhere was just awesome. As I went early April, I hit that cold snap and it got very cold!! Soon warmed up though later on. Thanks for bringing back the memories for me. Great vid and new sub here - ATB, Ben (Londoner Outdoors)

Looked like a nice trail Becky, you and Jake getting serious 😃. I admire how you test yourself and keep pushing through.
  • Beautiful, and not just the country side that you hiked through. Your videos, Becky always seem to find that soft spot in my heart, making me wish I could have joined you and Jake. Hope your summer is filled with adventure, bringing much peace to you.
  • I really enjoy the stuff you and Jake to together because I get to see the same thing from two different perspectives, and discover so much more! 🙂
  • Beautiful content and filming Becky - I ran 50 of those miles in April but it’s always beautiful to see another’s view and at a different pace. Thank you 🙏
  • Hi, awesome video. Way to ruck through the uncomfort and pain .... inspired. Thank you for sharing.
  • @bertkelly7650
Good job Becky! Always enjoy your travels cause I'm too old to do it myself.
  • @claramullen
What an amazing hike Huck wonderful scenery. Take care Becky.
  • Well done to you both. I aim to carry on early April 2024. I will be going from The Sustainability Centre, East Meon. I did Winchester to there in 2 days but had to pull out due to injury. Wish me luck, this local man (West Sussex) in his 50's. I liked the way you put your recordings together; thanks for sharing. All the best, K
