From the locals who viewed the house, there were puzzled remarks like “You’re going to buy this old house?” and “Isn’t it better to demolish it and build a new house?”, but for us, we can only see the possibilities of this house.
Through this project, as much as possible we wish to:
- Treasure the old and reuse materials.
- Source local materials and suppliers.
- Build a house which is friendly to the environment and human health and
- Blends into the scenery of Japan.
